Rebecca was such an astonishingly sweet girl. My strongest memory will always be of the two of us in Okinawa while touring a bombed out castle, however. After she realized the 7 inch diameter spider hanging on a web over a doorway was not only real, but alive, she couldn't steel herself to cross through. I ended up grabbing her hand and convincing her to run with me through the archway. Someone snatched a picture of us as we ran, laughing hard and looking up at that monstrous "baby".
